Award-Winning Short Film adapted from a young immigrant’s essay

Inspired by a immigrant dreamer’s student essay, this original short won three Addy Awards for its work in helping to get out the vote for the 2018 Midterm elections. I couldn’t be more proud of this piece, the cast, or the anonymous young woman who inspired it (though I am equally angry that in today’s America an inspiring young immigrant felt she needed to stay anonymous in order to protect herself and her parents.
