Digital Spot highlighting UPS’s work during the global pandemic

For years now, I have traveled the world telling the stories of UPS Team Members and Partners. It has been a truly amazing experience. When I was tapped to create a spot about the life-saving work UPS Healthcare implemented throughout the pandemic, it was both an honor and an incredible responsibility. Beginning with stock footage of the pandemic to set our story’s global stage, I and my Chorus Films team set to capturing unique elements filmed at UPS Healthcare’s state-of-the-art facility in Louisville KY, UPS World Port’s Global Distribution Center, and emotionally-driven narrative scenes shot in and around Atlanta.

The result is a project I couldn’t be more proud of. From the page to the screen, this spot sought to illustrate the heartfelt sense of gratitude I have to UPS, UPS Healthcare, and its dedicated people for remaining on the frontline throughout this pandemic. And to their scientists and engineers for quickly inventing new ways to ensure the vaccine’s safe and effective delivery across the globe. To their managers, sorters, warehouse team, pilots, package car drivers and everyone else for being there everyday.

The Numbers are indeed overwhelming. So many of us have lost someone close. UPS’s work reached us in very personal ways. Our actress, just the week before, had hugged her Mom for the first time in a year. Those tears in her eyes and that catch in her throat were summoned from experience and hope.
