“DEATH LETTER BLUES”

Austere and poignant Music Video for Blues Troubadour Tinsley Ellis

My friend Eddie 9V produced this stark, startling cover of the Son House classic for Blues legend Tinsley Ellis. Tinsley came down to Electron Gardens with his beautiful resonator guitar and Jordan and I captured him simply playing the song down a few times. Shot in black and white, we gave the proceedings a Man in Black homage. Shot in a couple hours, the end-result has vibe for days.
Check out Tinsley’s latest record on Alligator Records and on tour around the U.S. He’s a truly dear human being.
